A Movement for Justice, Freedom and Support for Survivors of Stalking, Harassment, and Violence Against Women.
Shantika Lynch, a 49 year old devoted mother of six, business owner, and woman of faith has been wrongfully charged with murder following an unfortunate and uninvited altercation with a man who harassed and stalked her for years. Her plea's for help from law enforcement through multiple police reports and restraining order attempts throughout the years went ignored, which resulted in this man showing up at her business uninvited and sexually assaulting her, from which she defended herself. After being wrongfully incarcerated for 40 days and forced to borrow the funds to post her $1M bail, Shantika is now confined to her home, unable to work, and still facing steep legal challenges. Unfortunately, we are well aware that situations like this happen far too often, and victims are often further victimized by a system that should be protecting them. This movement is not just for her, but for justice, freedom, and support for all women who have experienced violence and injustice.
